Friday 13th January

Jonathan Ikin Satan Versus Israel (Revelation 12)

Jonathan Ikin is Pastor of the Ebenezer Evangelical Church in Weymouth, and previously pastored a church in Reading. He is also a member of the council of Prophetic Witness Movement International, and has committed his life to preaching, with a particular emphasis on Bible prophecy.

Friday 10th February

Jacob Prash- The High Priestly Prayer - The Real Lord's Prayer ( John 17)

Jacob Prasch is Director of Moriel Ministries. He is a Hebrew speaking evangelist to the Jews and a Bible teacher elaborating on the original Judeo-Christian background and hermeneutics of The New Testament. Jacob and Moriel Ministries are committed to the conviction that we are in the Last Days approaching the return of Christ and that contemporary events in The Middle East; the moral deterioration of society; the destruction of the environment; the globalisation of the world economy; the rise of a pseudo-democratic federal Europe and above all, the apostasy in the contemporary church, are all events of prophetic significance eschatologically.

Friday 9th March

Dr Calvin Smith- Christian Responses to Israel and the Middle East Conflict
This study aims to outline and biblically critique different Christian responses to Israel and events in the current Middle East conflict.

Calvin is the son of missionaries to Spain during the Franco regime. After joining the RAF he was diagnosed with leukaemia and given months to live. His healing led him into ministry, attending Bible College before going to university and earning degrees in education, and history and politics.

In 2005 he completed a Ph.D. in Theology at the University of Birmingham. He is Principal of King’s Evangelical Divinity School (United Kingdom), editor of the Evangelical Review of Society and Politics, author, academic researcher, and conference and church speaker. He lectures in theology and hermeneutics as well as researching and writing in the fields of Evangelicalism and politics, Pentecostalism in Latin America, and Christian response to the modern state of Israel.

Friday 13th April

Dominic Statham The Bible, Science and Truth

Dominic is a speaker and writer for Creation Ministries International. Dominic became a Christian as a student in the early eighties. Over the following years, he became convinced of the need to hold firmly to the Bible as the basis for Christian belief and practice. Intrigued by the endless media assertions that “evolution is a fact” and that “the Bible is wrong”, he decided to investigate the scientific issues for himself. He was astonished by the weakness of the arguments presented by evolutionists, and is now keen to help others realise that there is really no conflict between science and Christianity, and that the Bible can be trusted from the very first verse. Dominic has a particular interest in Christian ethics, and his conviction that the Bible is true stems, in part, from his growing appreciation of the wisdom contained in both the Old and New Testaments. These, he has come to realise, perfectly portray the nature of man—his spiritual and moral needs—and provide an understanding of godliness and rightful living that can be found nowhere else. He is convinced that no book is more needed or more relevant in our current age than the Bible. Dominic is a Chartered Engineer and graduate of Loughborough University in the UK. He has extensive experience of both manufacturing and product development and holds a number of patents. As an employee of Rolls Royce, he worked on projects for the Panavia Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon and, as an employee of GKN, engineering drivelines for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. Dominic is the author of the book, “Evolution: Good Science?”, exposing the ideological nature of Darwin's theory.

Friday 11th May

Jay Smith The Historical Veracity for the Bible

Jay Smith regularly conducts tours around the British Museum and the British Library in which he presents extra-biblical corroboration for historic details in the Old and New Testaments. The tour is not designed to prove that the Bible is the Word of God. Rather it is designed to look at archaeological, documentary and manuscript evidence to support the historical veracity of the Bible, to confront the challenge that the Bible is made up of myths and legends.

Jay is a noted evangelist and apologist to radical Muslims at Speakers' Corner in London, and on various university campuses. He is an expert in Christian-Muslim Apologetics, having worked with Muslims for over 29 years. He is famous for his unique evangelistic ministry of public engagement with Islam.

Every weekend he leads dozens of Christians to the Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park in London, where they meet with hundreds of Muslims face to face, to make friends, answer tough questions, debate the latest research and ideas, and share their faith. Jay heads up Hyde Park Christian Fellowship, and emphasizes the use of both apologetics and polemics with Muslims, including an investigation of their two revelations, the Bible and the Qur'an.
